Windows using ShareX

Setting up file.coffee with the ShareX screenshot tool is easy and only requires you to take a few steps.

If you are logged in to the website, we recommend downloading the ShareX config that links the files to your account. It can be downloaded from the "Downloads" menu through the "ShareX with Account" button. This button only shows up if you are logged in.

1. Download and install ShareX. Just click here to download the software directly.
2. Download and run our ShareX config script with ShareX from this place. This will get everything up and running for you, you won't have to change a single setting. If you are logged in, you will also see a button to download it with your API key in the file. Do NOT share your setup script.
3. You're done 🎉!

Now you can simply use Printscreen button to make full screen screenshots and Control + Printscreen for region screenshots

Linux and MacOS using MagicCap

Setting up file.coffee with the MagicCap tool is really easy but untested.

1. Download and install MagicCap. Just follow the instructions over at magiccap.me.
2. Download and run our ShareX config script with magiccap from this place. This will get everything up and running for you, you won't have to change a single setting. If you are logged in, you will also see a button to download it with your API key in the file. Do NOT share your setup script.
3. You're done 🎉!
